simwayap Week 10 guest speaker on Sustainability


Today we had a guest lecturer on sustanability in IS and I really enjoyed this class and my understanding of this lecture today was on how the environment is affected by all the different types of pollution going in the world today from- emissions from cars, usage of auromobiles, how increase in poppulation will affect the world we livew in and many other types of destructiveness to the earth and the environment in general.

With this ecological approach, researchers will be able to increase the diversity of their analytical tools, which, in turn, will provide them an additional, alternative perspective for the design of research projects.

LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 5 Description: Today i learnt about how the internet can be unsafe and how cyber criminology, has become such a danger through hacking into people's accounts, how viruses of all sorts are released into the network to do all sorts of damage to peoples software systems. Evaluation /Analysis : I have learnt that it is very important  for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is firewalled so that it will be very difficult for an intruder or any virus to hack into it. Conclusion/Action. After the lecture I had today, and having taken a hard thougt on online security, I will from now take it very serious and I will not use any of my devices without caution.
