LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING  Description: Today I learnt about what is meant by the term Cloud Computing. Cloud computing is  a term used to store data in the viture clouds or skiesm, how this has changed and developed the IS in the world today. There are different types of cloud computing depending on what sort of service an organisation requires. In short, it is described as a web service model designed to support and manage information system needs. Evaluation /Analysis : As I sat in class during this lecture, I thought truly there must be different types of web advanced systems offering cloud computing and that by the end of the day these systems should offer a service that is flexible, timely and an on-demand measured service. Today we had a guest lecturer on sustanability in IS and I really enjoyed this class and my understanding of this lecture today was on how the environment is affected by all the different types of pollution going in the world today from- emissions from cars, usage of auromobiles, how increase in poppulation will affect the world we livew in and many other types of destructiveness to the earth and the environment in general. With this ecological approach, researchers will be able to increase the diversity of their analytical tools, which, in turn, will provide them an additional, alternative perspective for the design of research projects. GROUP PRESENTATION   During this Easter break, I worked with my team week to ensure we have our assignment completed. What happened was that we found time at the beginning of the first week of the holidays were we met in Parry Library, At this meeting, arranged to meet with the Managers at Aero Ltd the following day as time was not with us. LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 5 Description: Today i learnt about how the internet can be unsafe and how cyber criminology, has become such a danger through hacking into people's accounts, how viruses of all sorts are released into the network to do all sorts of damage to peoples software systems. Evaluation /Analysis : I have learnt that it is very important  for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is firewalled so that it will be very difficult for an intruder or any virus to hack into it. Conclusion/Action. After the lecture I had today, and having taken a hard thougt on online security, I will from now take it very serious and I will not use any of my devices without caution. LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 8 Description: This morning we learnt about the trends and effects of IS in bnusiness and the impact this has had on the world in genaral. At this stage, the world is going through digital transformations or digitalisation strategy. My Lecturer was taking us through the presentation slide with creativity such that i understood his expetations from us when we present the group assignment. He explained the influence of  Databases & Cloud Computing in the world today and gave us alot of insight into what we will be expected to do when approaching the assignment and the timing of the presentation. LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 7 Description: Today we were going through our presentation expectation. My Tutor explained exactly what we will be expected to do and he was very thorough with us. He also told us how we should approach the assignment and  the timing of the presentation. Evaluation /Analysis : When I think back, I can see some things that I am happy about which I learnt that it is very important  for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is fire walled so that it will be not be a target for online  intruders or any virus to hack into it. Week 4 Lesson LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING  Description: I learnt a very interesting topic today called Business Intelligence and how it effects businesses in general. It is described as the way how online informatrion is acquired, analysed, stored and disserminatred for whatever use but that it must be it must be legal though information could be used for all sorts of things.
