LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 5
Description:
Today i learnt about how the internet can be unsafe and how cyber criminology, has become such a danger through hacking into people's accounts, how viruses of all sorts are released into the network to do all sorts of damage to peoples software systems.
Evaluation /Analysis:
I have learnt that it is very important for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is firewalled so that it will be very difficult for an intruder or any virus to hack into it.
Conclusion/Action.
After the lecture I had today, and having taken a hard thougt on online security, I will from now take it very serious and I will not use any of my devices without caution. I will not always take things at face value and think it is safe but I wll be more vigilant oaboyt this who cuber security.
PERSONALSEMINOR BLOG
This week I have had to fininsh off my assignments on excel exercise 4 and 5 which we prepared last week and fininshing off this week. I have always wanted to now how to create to use and create fomulae in excel which I am now learning and i am over the moon. I did enroll on an excel programme on line which I was doing on my own and i found if quite challanging. But for this one, as challanging as it is, I am enjoying every class. I guess it is the availability of extra resource which I would otherwise did not have online and is my fellow classmates who i can turn to and discuss where i am stuck and I think it is such a priceless benefit.
GROUP PRESENTATION
In my group we had our meeting this afternoon and were delegating task to individual members which saw us draw up a plan. I have been elected with the task of giving this presentaing and I am to research on the company.
My presentation will address the issues that we will find about the business and how these IS issues will be solved. I am looking at the fact these problems will be resolved by the kind of solutions that we will be presnted to address them. Everybody in the team has been brainstorming to ensure successful completion of our presentation.
We have set up a whatssup group and have agreed to meet next tube in campus to discuss our ideas and kickstart the group presentation with a view to submit it with the the deadline as required by our lecture.
