LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 7
Description:
Today we were going through our presentation expectation. My Tutor explained exactly what we will be expected to do and he was very thorough with us. He also told us how we should approach the assignment and the timing of the presentation.
Evaluation /Analysis:
When I think back, I can see some things that I am happy about which I learnt that it is very important for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is fire walled so that it will be not be a target for online intruders or any virus to hack into it. I need to ensure all precautions are in place and never too leave myself open to cyber attack.
Conclusion/Action.
After the lecture/Seminer finsihed today, I took a hard long look into the online security and I was just wondering how vulnerable people can be online. I felt angry at the same tinme that the criminals on online actually enyoy creating an environment of insecurity for the people who use the internet. The lecture made me realise that I need to take any interractions serious online and that I should not leave myself vulnerable. I have now vowed that from now on, I will take cyber criminality very serious and I will not use any of my devices without caution. I also that I will not always take things at face value and but to have a clear understanding safety. More importantly, I will be more vigilant about this whole cuber security.

This week I have had to finish off my assignments on excel exercise 4 and 5 which we prepared last week and fininshing off this week. I have always wanted to now how to create to use and create fomulae in excel which I am now learning and i am over the moon. I did enroll on an excel programme on line which I was doing on my own and i found if quite challanging. But for this one, as challanging as it is, I am enjoying every class. I guess it is the availability of extra resource which I would otherwise did not have online and is my fellow classmates who i can turn to and discuss where i am stuck and I think it is such a priceless benefit.
GROUP PRESENTATION
The group is doing well because so far, we have started adding the words to the slides which we hope to complete by the end of this week. We have delegated ourselves and shared responsibility on who will do what.
We have planned to meet on Thursday, 15th March for conclusion on the presentation and hope we will have done more.which we did settled on the number of people to present and ave now been prepared for the had our meeting this afternoon and were delegating task to individual members which saw us draw up a plan. I have been elected with the task of giving this presenting and I am to research on the company.
Our presentation will address the IS problems that we will find about the business and how these IS issues will be solved. I am looking at the fact these problems will be resolved by the methods or ecommendations that we will put forward as solutions that we will be put to address problems. Everybody in the team has been brainstorming to ensure successful completion of our presentation.
