GROUP PRESENTATION  


During this Easter break, I worked with my team week to ensure we have our assignment completed. What happened was that we found time at the beginning of the first week of the holidays were we met in Parry Library, At this meeting, arranged to meet with the Managers at Aero Ltd the following day as time was not with us.

At the day of the meeting with Managers at Aero Associated Services Ltd, we had prepared 3 questions which we had to put forward and the following are the questions.-

1. The First problem faced by the company is that during the summer time which is the peak season, it is difficult to recruit staff, hence there is a huge staff shortage to cover services as there are more travellers during summer vacation etc.
2 .The company has to make an online portal as well as  company cloud to get rid of the hard copies. The company can launch software to keep the data of every single employee so that it will be easy for them to submit the data to Airport Authorities for security purpose
3. Lack of IT Strategic planning from senior management who were disconnected from the bigger digital picture as they were less involved in the IT planning of the business. Supervisors were left to be responsible for others.

Our time was very limited because as you might be aware, the office is so busy and we had to slot in in the little time that they gave us otherwise we would have to find another day which would have been difficult because of the distance and their availability.

After the meeting, we came back to Uni and started to brain storm the information we had got.
We proceeded to creating the slide template and everyone was fired up by now as we all had the information with us to complete the slides. Though we had a few challenges in meeting from then on, we a meeting to discuss the slide and catching on reviewing some information on the slide, we used other forms of communication especially whatssup and sometimes phone calls or texting. It was difficult at times to meet as a group because of individual; commitments, we finally also congregated during the second week of our holidays to ensure we polish up some areas of the slide. We have all been working hard on this to ensure it succeeds and I must say that everybody in the team has been looking forward to this and agreed to encourage each other until the presentation is done.
We finally did our presentation on tuesday, 17th April 2018

Cloud computing is  a term used to store data in the viture clouds or skiesm, how this has changed and developed the IS in the world today. LECTURE REFLECTIVE WRITING exercise 5 Description: Today i learnt about how the internet can be unsafe and how cyber criminology, has become such a danger through hacking into people's accounts, how viruses of all sorts are released into the network to do all sorts of damage to peoples software systems. Evaluation /Analysis : I have learnt that it is very important  for me to be very careful when on line/network and to ensure whatever devise I am using is firewalled so that it will be very difficult for an intruder or any virus to hack into it.
